A representation of grief, sorrow and pain. A feeling like no other.
I remember the days of the big brown “77 Caddy and the nitendo 64. Going to the matinee and watching 3 movies. Lets not forget the height of Death Row. Snoop dog and Dr. Dre. Man those were the days…now back to business..

Just a little observation from living the life of an african american. Can you dig it!
Man those were the days…
Remember watching goofy azz J.J scream out “Dynomite!”…
Thelma wearing those tight jeans showing off that camel toe…good lawd!
Michael actin’ like a straight up wimp with that suspicious swagga…(i think he’s really gay to this very day)..or how about
Penny getting abused with the hot iron..and last but not least…
James getting killied in an accident and wifey screamin’ Damn! Damn! Damn!….
Now that’s good classic television. Can You dig it!
If one was to ask your ethnicity, you’ll probaly say polish, german, jewish, jamaican, irish, russian, italian, scottish, greek, african and so on. Each ethnicity having its own place of origin and natural connect. As for myself, I’m classified as black. A color that designates me as such but no sense of origin. Over the years we have deliberated over whether to be african american, afro american, negro, colored and even ‘nigga” for some. The uncertainty of what to call ourselves is indicative to the uncertainty of who we actually are. Like walking in darkness without a light to shine our path, collectively as a race we have become the lost tribe with no sense of direction. Easily to manipulate and control others feed on our communities like parasites. This has left us watching everyone else pass us by while they live their own american dream. Last on the totem pole, we have reduced ourselves to something less than who we truly are. Beautiful people with awesome accomplishments. Now don’t get me wrong…I love me and mine but damn what gives? Can You Dig It!!!
The recent heart wrenching tragedy of actress Jennifer Hudson’s’ family has everyone wondering, how
could someone be so vicious and cold to commit such a hideous act? An empty soul with a serious disregard for life seems to be what’s in play here.
Speaking of disregard, I’ve lost many over the past several years due to violence where each death was seriously acknowleged and mourned. But for many, its like a game where the respect for life itself is nother more than an after thought. I can truly understand how preconcieved notions are created and sterotypes enacted.
Even animals in the wild have the enept ability to preserve the fruitation of life. Are we existing in such a society where guarded and suspicious behaviors takes prominence over community? If so, how are we suppose to get anything done collectively? I guess it really is about survival of the fittest and not supporting your neighbor. At this point, it’s truly gonna take something higher than man to get us out of this stance. Can You Did It?
